Corinne’s career experiences have always been in a field where she could use her artistic talents. Following several years as a professional makeup artist for the major television studios in California as well as becoming an international training instructor for a major cosmetics company, upon her return to Chicago, she made the decision that 'art' was her passion and in order to realize her full potential, formal instruction was necessary. She enrolled in the International Academy of Design in Chicago where she studied both fashion and architectural design, and what followed was several years designing her own lines of clothing, jewelry and freelance interior design.
But her desire to become a 'painter' never left her heart. She'd always felt that it was truly what she was destined to do. From childhood on, she had 'dabbled' at it, loved it and decided now was the time to follow her dream. She enrolled at Main Street Art Center to be taught by multi-award winning artists Frankie Johnson and Susan Ploughe and continues her education taking further instruction at the many workshops she attends.
Following her dream of becoming a 'painter' took many years to realize, so now that it has become an amazing reality, she looks forward to sharing her paintings with everyone/anyone who feels that special little tingle when spotting a painting that touches their hearts, or commissions a painting that, hopefully, will thrill those people today and be passed through families for generations to come. Corinne is an award winning artist. Her paintings hang from California to Italy.
