Born and raised in the mountains of Montana, Lynn Loch now resides in Cary, Illinois. Lynn has been working and raising her family for the past 25 years and is now getting the time to pursue her much-awaited dream to paint. Lynn has always enjoyed the works of artists from around the world and has been blessed enough to see many of them. With much encouragement from her family she started taking classes in order to receive formal training. Lynn enjoys watching and learning from other artists' techniques and can often be found doing so. She has taken pleasure in many types of art; with experience in basket weaving, quilting, decorative wall and furniture painting.

Lynn is currently a student at Main Street Art Center in Lake Zurich. Lynn has taken workshops with Roger Dale Brown and Kim English.

Throughout her life Lynn has been drawn to nature. She has a talent for portraying natural beauty through lighting and texture. Finding new and exciting subjects to paint always provide a thrill for Lynn. From portraits to landscapes and from oils to acrylics Lynn gets lost in the many hours she spends painting.
