Therese Davis creates wire jewelry as well as unique pillows and slip covered furniture for clients seeking the unique one-of-a-kind item. FABRICations began in 2006, originally to create custom home furnishings, evolving into slipcovers and jewelry design.
Therese grew up in Michigan where she learned to sew with her Grandmother by making Barbie doll dresses on a treadle sewing machine. This inspired her to earn a B.S. in Clothing & Textiles from Michigan State University.
In the course of her diverse professional career she has developed an eye for fine detail (through work in tailoring and bridal fashions) as well as an expansive knowledge of construction and fabrication techniques (working in drapery workrooms).
Therese lives in Barrington, Illinois with her husband Mike and 2 boys, Owen and Zane.
